Episode 9: Bobby Deitch
In this episode, Zach is joined by Mr. Bobby Deitch. He is a multi-instrumentalist with a primary focus on composition and drums. Bobby attended Berklee College of Music and has had a wonderful career as a music educator at SUNY Rockland while playing various styles of music with numerous projects. He met his soulmate Denise at Berklee, she's also had a succcessful career as a teacher. Their son Adam Deitch went on to become an internationally renowned drummer, he is most definitely his son's biggest fan.
They talk about Bobby's early life on Long Island, falling in love with music at a young age, playing drums in various bands, the magic of Berklee during that era, meeting his soulmate, composition, the importance of music and family, his passion for teaching, and so much more.
